Duke target Dariq Whitehead dominates at Peach Jam

Another game, another dominant performance from Duke target Dariq Whitehead.

The five-star small forward was once again a stand out performer at Peach Jam. His stellar performance led the way as Team Durant defeated Uplay Canada. Whitehead finished with 26 points (12-17 fg), 12 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals. He also knocked down two out of five three point attempts.

Below are highlights from Tuesday’s game:

Whitehead showed off his smooth touch on a variety of jumpshots. He flashed his ability to create his own shot off the dribble as well as his impressible ability to finish at the rim. His elite athleticism was on full display as well.

His active defense and rebounding shined through on the box score with the 12 rebounds he pulled down. In addition to everything else Whitehead excels at, he is an elite rebounder for his size.

Currently ranked in the top 5-7 range on most recruiting sites, Whitehead is making a strong argument to be solidified as a top five player in the class of 2022.
